The Mezquita-Catedral and the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos represent two different ways of understanding Córdoba. The first allows you to explore the city's great temple, from the phases of the ancient Umayyad mosque to the Christian cathedral built within it. The second preserves the traces of civil and military power, with halls, courtyards, gardens and spaces linked to the period of the Catholic Monarchs.
The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. As a guideline, around 1 hour and 15 minutes is dedicated to the Mezquita-Catedral and about 1 hour to the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos.
There are regular departures in Spanish, English and French. Groups are not mixed by language. On request, German, Portuguese or Italian can be arranged.
In Spanish, there are departures Tuesday to Saturday at 10:00, 11:30, 14:30 and 16:00, and Sundays at 9:30. In English, Tuesday to Saturday at 11:30. In French, Tuesday to Saturday at 9:30.
Includes official guide, tickets to the Mezquita-Catedral and tickets to the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos. You can also request tickets for the Iglesias Fernandinas from the guide during the visit. If the group exceeds 9 participants, radio guides are used and headsets are provided. Does not include hotel pick-up or food and drink.

Look for the orange umbrella. Important - they have to be 10 minutes before the start of the visit. The 10:00 and 11:30 hours are only available in Spanish.
The Mezquita-Catedral is accessible. In the Alcázar, accessibility is partial, as it is not possible to tour the entire monument in a wheelchair. With a pushchair the visit can be done, though in the Alcázar it may be less comfortable due to access limitations.
Children under 3 years old must be included in the booking even though they are free of charge, in order to count the total number of participants. Pets are not permitted under monument regulations.
The limit is 30 people per group, though this may vary by season and on many occasions groups do not exceed 15 participants.
You can cancel with 100% refund up to 24 hours before the start of the tour.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, the refund will be 40%. In case of no-show without notice, no refund is made.
The tour is only suspended if the Mezquita-Catedral or the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos announce an official closure due to bad weather or force majeure. In that case, a date change or full refund is offered.
Yes. The tour includes tickets to the Mezquita-Catedral and to the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, as well as the accompaniment of an official guide throughout the route.
In the Mezquita-Catedral it is not possible to remain inside after the tour ends, because the group must enter and leave accompanied by the guide. In the Alcázar, you can stay in the gardens once the explanation has finished.
The Mezquita-Catedral is accessible. In the Alcázar, accessibility is partial due to stairs and interior areas with limitations. With a pushchair it can be done, though in the Alcázar it may be less comfortable.
Yes. The Mezquita-Catedral is an active religious temple, so decent dress is required. It is recommended to cover your shoulders, avoid clothing above the knee and not to enter wearing a cap or hat.
No. The regulations of both monuments do not permit pets. Certified guide dogs may access with prior notification at the time of booking.
You must request them from the guide during the visit to the Mezquita-Catedral. They will obtain them at the ticket office for interested participants.
